Scott A. Mushkin

Scott A. Mushkin is a Managing Director and a Senior Research Analyst at Jefferies & Company, Inc., where he covers food and drug retailing and packaged food. In 2011, Mr. Mushkin was named to Institutional Investor’s All-America Research Team, ranking third in consumer – retailing/food and drug chains. In 2010 and 2009, he was named Institutional Investor’s Runner-Up. He has also been recognized by Forbes and the Financial Times. Prior to joining Jefferies, Mr. Mushkin was a Vice President and a Senior Research Analyst at at Banc of America Securities LLC. In 2007, he was named a Runner-Up on Institutional Investor’s All-America Research Team; in 2006, he was Best Up-and-Comer. Prior to his tenure at Banc of America Securities, he was a Vice President and a Senior Analyst covering the healthy lifestyle sector at Lehman Brothers, as well as a member of Lehman Brothers’ food and drug retailing equity research team. Mr. Mushkin began his career as a high net worth broker at Kidder, Peabody and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he was a Partner in the PMM Investment Management Group. Mr. Mushkin received a B.A. in history from Boston College and an MBA from The University of Chicago.
