Richard W. Ussery

RICHARD W. USSERY is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
of Total System Services, Inc. (TSYS). Prior to his current position, he
served as the first President and CEO of TSYS, beginning in 1983 when
the company was formed from the data processing and bankcard departments
of Columbus Bank and Trust Company (CB&T). He previously worked for CB&T
for 18 years, starting his career as a bank teller. Mr. Ussery received
a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Auburn University.
He is also a graduate of the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University
and the Stonier School of Banking at Rutgers University.
