Schafer, Richard E.

Richard Schafer is Executive Director and an Analyst in CIBC
World Markets’ equity research department, where he has covered
the telecommunications equipment industry, specifically optical
networking and fiber optic components, for the past five years.
Prior to joining CIBC World Markets, Mr. Schafer worked as a
financial analyst and market researcher for Eurofon, Inc. & Co.
KG Germany, a subsidiary of wireless test and measurement
equipment manufacturer LCC, LLC. Mr. Schafer received his
international MBA from the University of South Carolina and holds
BS degrees in Finance and Multinational Business from Florida
State University.
