Richard P. McStravick

RICHARD P. MCSTRAVICK has been President and Chief Executive
Officer of Sound Federal Bancorp since 1992. Before becoming
President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. McStravick was
Assistant Vice President from 1977 to 1980, Vice President from
1981 to 1989 and Executive Vice President from 1990 to 1991. He
is a member of the Financial Management Society and was Director
of the Community Bankers Association of New York State from 1997
to 1998. Mr. McStravick belongs to several civic associations. He
has a BBA from Iona College, an EMBA from the University of New
Haven and an Advanced Certificate from American Institute of
Banking.
