Richard Kelly

RICHARD KELLY is Chairman of the board, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Xcel Energy. From June to mid-December 2005, he served as President and Chief
Executive Officer; from October 2003 until June 2005, he was Xcel Energy’s Chief
Operating Officer. Prior to that he served as the company’s Chief Financial
Officer. He is Vice Chairman of the Edison Electric Institute, Chairman of the
board of trustees of the Science Museum of Minnesota and a board member and Vice
Chair/Corporate Treasurer of the Capital City Partnership. He also is a board
member of theElectric Power Research Institute, the Nuclear Energy Institute,
Canadian Pacific Railway and Regis University, and a Director on the Denver
Metro Chamber of Commerce.
