R. Richard Dool

R. RICHARD DOOL was appointed President and Chief Executive
Officer of Liquent in April 2000. Before joining the company, Mr.
Dool was President and Chief Executive Officer at LabVantage
Solutions, the global leader of laboratory automation software.
During his tenure there, revenue increased over 1,000% and the
company’s ranking increased from 28th to first in client sites.
Previous to LabVantage, Mr. Dool was the Chief Executive Officer
at Ultimate Data Systems, the global leader in software solutions
for the electrical and plumbing wholesale distribution market.
During his tenure, Ultimate Data Systems was recognized in the
top 100 application software developers in North America. Mr.
Dool also held senior management positions at The Ultimate
Corporation and spent 15 years with AT&T in senior sales,
marketing, product management and general management positions.
He received a BA in Political Science and Public Administration
from Fordham University and an MA in Strategic Communications and
Leadership from Seton Hall University.
