Michael J. Morrissey

MICHAEL J. MORRISSEY is Chairman and CEO and a founder of The Firemark
Group. In addition to his management responsibilities for the firm, he
directly oversees Firemarks investment banking and investment
management activities. Mr. Morrissey advises insurance managements with
regard to strategy, mergers and acquisitions, financings and valuations,
and has served on a number of company boards. As the firms chief
investment strategist, he is responsible for the management of a
portfolio of insurance investments for clients of Firemark. He is a
contributor to industry and financial periodicals, and is a frequent
speaker at insurance industry gatherings. Mr. Morrissey has held senior
management positions with major publicly held life and property &
casualty insurers. He was President and COO of an NYSE listed life
insurance company as well as Senior Vice President of Planning and a
member of the Management Committee at an NYSE property & Casualty
insurance organization. He served as President of the Association of
Insurance and Financial Analysts, and remained a director for a number
of years. He is a member of the AIFA and the New York Society of
Security Analysts. Mr. Morrissey earned an MBA degree from Dartmouth
Colleges Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, with a
concentration in finance and investments. He received an AB degree from
Boston College. Mr. Morrissey earned the Chartered Financial Analyst
designation, and completed Harvard Business Schools Corporate Financial
Management program.
