Mark Woodward

MARK WOODWARD is President and Chief Executive Officer of SERENA
Software, Inc. He joined SERENA Software in November 1998, bringing over
23 years of experience in the high technology industry, including 16
years in sales and sales management. Mr. Woodward began his career at
SERENA Software as Vice President of Sales. He was promoted to Vice
President of Worldwide Operations in February 2000 and is credited with
expanding the SERENA sales force and customer base. Mr. Woodward was
appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of SERENA Software in
May 2000. Prior to joining SERENA Software, Mr. Woodward was the Senior
Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Live Picture, Inc., a
developer of Internet imaging technology. Mr. Woodward also spent two
years as the Vice President of Sales for McAfee Associates, a network
management firm, and was a Vice President of Sales for Legent
Corporation, a developer of software change management products.
