Mark D. Groban

MARK D. GROBAN, MD, the Chairman of Mid Atlantic Medical Services, Inc.
(MAMSI) is a graduate of Ohio State University and Albany Medical
College. He joined MAMSI as a Consultant in 1988 and subsequently joined
the company on a full-time basis in 1990. He has served the company in
various capacities including Medical Director of Quality Improvement,
Medical Director of Behavioral Health Services, and President of the
company’s PPO subsidiaries, Alliance PPO and MAPSI. He has been a
Director of the company since 1990. The Board of Directors selected Dr.
Groban to lead MAMSI as its Chairman in April 1999.
