John East

JOHN EAST is President and CEO of Actel Corporation. Prior to
joining Actel in December 1988 with more than 20 years’
experience in the semiconductor industry, Mr. East was a Senior
Vice President at AMD, where he was responsible for the Logic
Products Group. He has held various marketing, engineering and
management positions at Raytheon Semiconductor and Fairchild
Semiconductor. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of
Adaptec Corporation. Mr. East holds a BSEE and an MBA from the
University of California, Berkeley.
