Jan David Wald

JAN DAVID WALD, Vice President, Securities Research, joined A.G. Edwards
in June 2000 and focuses his research efforts in the medical technology
industry. Dr. Wald is an active publisher of industry and company-
specific research reports focused in the areas of cardiology and
neurology. He has previous work experience in the medical technology
industry, working at Guidant Corp. and Honeywell, Inc. At Guidant, Dr.
Wald managed clinical programs as well as the development of the
algorithms and software for two implantable defibrillators. He worked as
a scientist and manager of image processing algorithm and robotics
programs at Honeywell. Prior to joining A.G. Edwards, Dr. Wald was a
Senior Vice President and Senior Analyst in medical technology at George
K. Baum & Co. He has a PhD from Brandeis University and an MBA from the
University of St. Thomas. Dr. Wald also holds a patent on atrial
fibrillation detection.
