Jack Acosta

Jack Acosta, CFO and VP Finance, Portal Software, Inc., is responsible
for all financial planning, reporting, analysis, and investor relations
and oversees all financial systems, facilities and legal operations. He
brings 17 years of high-tech experience managing financial analysis and
planning at public and pre-IPO companies with multiple product lines and
business groups. Formerly, he was Executive Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer at Sybase, Inc. Prior to that, he served as the
President and Chief Operating Officer of Tanon Manufacturing, Inc.,
where he expanded the company’s revenues from $21 million to $54 million
in 18 months. His financial and corporate operations experience also
includes almost 10 years at Ungermann-Bass, Inc., where he held a
variety of senior financial and operational positions. He holds both a
Bachelor of Science degree in Business and an MBA from California State
University, Hayward.
