J. Hord Armstrong

J. HORD ARMSTRONG III is Chairman, CEO and Founder of D&K Healthcare
Resources, Inc. Hord has served as Chairman for 12 years and has lead
the company since its creation in 1987 to a $2.45 billion enterprise
with five distribution centers and several specialty companies. Hord’s
30 years of financial and operational experience in varied industries
have been instrumental in D&K’s profitable growth record. Under his
guidance, the company went public in September 1992. Hord serves as a
member of the Board of Trustees of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and
also serves as a Director of Jones Pharma, Inc.
