Ed Gordon

ED GORDON is a Managing Director and co-Head of Punk Ziegel &
Company’s healthcare practice that is focused on biotechnology,
genomics, and healthcare information systems companies. Prior to
joining Punk Ziegel, he was a Managing Director in SG Cowen’s
Health Investment Banking Group, focusing on healthcare services
and healthcare information systems companies inclusive). Mr.
Gordon started his corporate finance career at ING Barings
(formerly Furman Selz). His clients included leading hospital and
managed care companies. Before moving into investment banking, He
led the Health Care Services Research effort at Morgan Stanley.
During his career there, both Institutional Investor magazine and
the Annual Greenwich Survey of Institutional Investors ranked him
among the top analysts covering facility-based healthcare
management companies (hospitals, nursing homes, physician
practice management and ambulatory surgery centers) and managed
care companies. Mr. Gordon received his BA in Economics and an
MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh.
