David L. Dutton

David L. Dutton, a 25-year veteran of the semiconductor industry, is President
and Chief Executive Officer of Mattson Technology. Mr. Dutton joined Mattson in
1994 after holding key management positions at Intel and Maxim Integrated
Products. In 1995 he became Vice President and General Manager of the Plasma
Strip Group, overseeing Mattson’s course in becoming a dominant leader in the
global strip market. In 1998 Mr. Dutton was promoted to Chief Operating Officer;
he also served as the President of the Plasma Products Division prior to his
appointment as President and CEO in late 2001. On behalf of Mattson, Mr. Dutton
is a representative of the Silicon Valley Business Group (SVBG). He is also a
member of the Bay Area Council. Mr. Mattson received his Bachelor of Science
from San Jose State University.
