David Hilal

David Hilal, director of technology research and senior analyst at
friedman, billings, ramsey group, inc., leads the group responsible for
providing insight into some of today’s most dynamic global companies.
Mr. Hilal is highly respected in the technology investment community,
and has received the title of best stock picker in the Internet software
and services sector by TheStreet.com comes from both his dedication to
providing targeted and objective research and his experience inside the
technology industry. While at American Management Systems, a global
information-technology consulting firm, he developed a deep
understanding of the Internet, the software industry and their
associated technologies. He managed and was responsible for the
implementation of several enterprise software projects. Mr. Hilal earned
his MBA in finance and his BS in mechanical engineering from the
University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the Association for
Investment Management and Research and the Washington Society of
Investment Analysts. He has received the chartered financial analyst
designation.
