Brendan Hoey

BRENDAN HOEY, Associate Director in European equity research, joined
Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc. in October 2000 as a Publishing Analyst within
the media research team. He joined the firm from Robert Fleming in
London, where he was Lead Media Analyst in an integrated TMT team. Prior
to Robert Fleming, Mr. Hoey spent three years at Paribas in London as a
Specialist Publishing Analyst, where he achieved first-time team
rankings in both Extel and Reuters surveys. He started his professional
career at Morgan Stanley, where he was part of the Institutional
Investor and Greenwich second-ranked European Media team between 1992
and 1996. Mr. Hoey holds an MA in French and Hispanic Studies from the
University of Glasgow in Scotland and a European Masters in Management
