JOHN D. WAKELY is a Managing Director with Lehman Brothers, London with
primary responsibility for the European drinks industry and the US wine
& spirits industry. Prior to joining the firm, he held similar
positions at PaineWebber and at Merrill Lynch. He has also worked as an
Analyst on Wall Street covering both US consumer companies and special
situations. Mr. Wakely holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and
Agricultural Economics from Exeter University, England and an MBA from
the University of Virginia. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a
