TIMOTHY PISTELL is Treasurer of Parker-Hannifin Corporation in
Cleveland, Ohio. As Treasurer, he is responsible for all of the
traditional treasury functions, including cash, credit, debt and risk
management, as well as all retirement plans. He is also Director of
Business Planning & Development and is responsible for investor
relations. Mr. Pistell has been with Parker since 1969. In recent
assignments, he was named Director-Business Planning in January 1993,
after serving as Vice President-Finance/Controller International,
located in England, since 1988. There he was responsible for treasury,
tax, legal, credit, and audit functions for Parker's International
sector. His previous positions have included Vice President of
Finance/Controller for the Fluidpower Group, Industrial Hydraulics
Division Controller, O-Ring Division Controller, and various other
financial management posts. Mr. Pistell graduated from Miami University
of Ohio with a Bachelor's degree in accounting, and joined Parker as a
corporate accounting trainee. He also received a Master's degree in
business administration from Baldwin Wallace College in 1984. He is a
member of the National Association of Accountants, Treasury Management
Association, Financial Executives Institute, and is on the Board of the
Cleveland Treasurers' Club. Mr. Pistell also serves on the executive
boards of the Northeast Ohio Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Great
Lakes Theater Festival. Profile
LAWRENCE ZENO was appointed a member of the Office of the President July
1, 1997. He was elected a Corporate Vice-President of Parker-Hannifin
Corporation, Cleveland, Ohio on November 11, 1993. Previously, he served
as President and Vice President - Operations of the Motion & Control
Group. He began his career with Parker in 1966 and filled a number of
sales, marketing and operations management posts in the Company's fluid
power business before promotion to vice president in 1985. He has a B.S.
degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University and an
M.B.A. from Indiana University. Mr. Zeno is currently Director of the
National Fluid Power Association, the Great Lakes Science Center of
Cleveland and public television station WVIZ - Channel 25. Profile
