Lee Ligang Zhang is the Founder and has served as the Director, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of iKang Healthcare Group, Inc., since December 2003. Mr. Zhang was one of the co-founders of eLong.com, a Nasdaq-listed company, and he served as Chief Executive Officer of its China operation from 1999 to 2003. From 1998 to 1999, Mr. Zhang served as head of product development of Sohu.com Inc., a Nasdaq-listed leading Chinese Web portal. Mr. Zhang founded Harvard China Review in 1997. Mr. Zhang received a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry from Concordia College in the U.S., and a master's degree in genetics from Harvard University.
