Eric Hanson, CFA, CFP, founded Hanson & Doremus Investment Management, which focuses on investment portfolios for individuals, retirement plans and endowments, in July 1995. He is responsible for overall portfolio strategy. Mr. Hanson has managed money in Burlington, Vermont, since 1971, first with the Howard Bank for nine years, then with Fraser Management Associates for 15 years. A graduate of St. Lawrence University, Mr. Hanson earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1978, and his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1985. He is a member and past President of the Vermont CFA Society and also a member of the Boston CFA Society. Mr. Hanson is a past Board Chairman of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra and the Vermont Nature Conservancy. He currently serves on the board of St. Lawrence University, the Humane Society of Chittenden County, the Vermont Council on World Affairs and the Vermont Chinese School. Profile
