B. Douglas Whitman II is the Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance, for Healthcare Realty Trust Incorporated. He joined the company in 1998, and he is responsible for overseeing its capital markets activity and banking relationships. Through his involvement with the acquisition and development of outpatient medical facilities, Mr. Whitman has established relationships with several leading health care providers, including Baylor Health Care System, Baptist Memorial Health Care, Ascension Health and Hawaii Pacific Health. Before joining the company, Mr. Whitman worked for the University of Michigan Health System and HCA Inc. He received his economics and Asian studies degrees from Williams College and his MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Profile
