Richard Williams is the Senior Software Analyst for Cross Research LLC. Mr. Williams has been an independent software Analyst for 10 years since leaving Jefferies & Co., where he initiated coverage of technology stocks in 1999 and introduced a new research segment to Jefferies' traditional energy and natural resource focus. Mr. Williams was among the 15 individuals worldwide to earn the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Market Technician. He was selected as the runner-up for the 2000 Dow Award, the most prestigious award in technical analysis, representing the only time the runner-up distinction has been awarded. In addition, Mr. Williams was selected by Investor's Business Daily as one of the top three stock pickers of more than 255 software analysts. Mr. Williams graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. degree in political science and a minor in computer science, and he holds an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business. Profile
