Vivek Ghai heads Mahindra Satyam's health care and life sciences business in the North America market. Additionally, he also anchors the global strategy for Mahindra Satyam's health care and life sciences practice, developing plans, investing in vertical-specific solutions, competencies and centers of excellence, and building alliance partnerships. As member of the leadership council, the highest steering group at Mahindra Satyam, Mr. Ghai is also responsible for establishing strategic direction and deploying operating plans to achieve the long-term goals. With more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry, Mr. Ghai has served in a variety of leadership roles, setting up and leading globally distributed service delivery infrastructures, establishing and leading large customer service relationships, and leading large business portfolios with P&L responsibility. Prior to joining Mahindra Satyam, he spent nine years as an entrepreneur, and Founder and CEO of a very successful information technology company in India before selling it in 2001.
