Acxiom Corporation – Cameron Thompson

Cameron Thompson, Group Managing Director for Acxiom's health care market, is Acxiom's key thought leader on all health care-related subject matter for pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers, health insurance providers, provider hospitals, pharmacy benefit managers and data suppliers. Mr. Thompson has developed and executed marketing strategies in the area of patient health for over 22 years. Prior to joining Acxiom, he served as Senior Vice President for Harte-Hanks Healthcare, where he was responsible for advising clients on how to increase the power and effectiveness of their marketing investments. He advised clients such as Genentech, Pfizer, WellPoint, Allergan, Astra Zeneca, GSK, DSI and Boehringer Ingelheim, among others. Before Harte-Hanks, Mr. Thompson pioneered the national health care practice for Peppers & Rogers Group, the one-to-one management consultants, advising such clients as Biogen, Eli Lilly, Bayer, Amgen, Kaiser, Anthem and California Blue Cross/Blue Shield on customer development and lifetime value exchange. His career also includes working as the Director of Marketing for an international health care developer, where he led the strategic marketing and sales for the launch of a $250 million facility. He began his career with provider hospital facilities, where he led consumer marketing programs and forged his strong interest in customer relationship programs and customer loyalty. Mr. Thompson is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and he earned a bachelor's degree in psychology. He also earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Profile
