Appalachian Bancshares, Inc. – Danny F. Dukes

Danny F. Dukes has been Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Appalachian Bancshares, Inc., since October 2007. Mr. Dukes serves as Principal Accounting Officer of Appalachian Bancshares and oversees all financial functions, including accounting, treasury, financial reporting and budgeting. He's also served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Appalachian Community Bank, a subsidiary of Appalachian Bancshares, since October 2007. Mr. Dukes has over 25 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Appalachian Bancshares, he served as a Senior Project Lead with Callaway Partners, LLC, where he assisted Fannie Mae in the re-engineering of the financial reporting process and system for security portfolio. Prior to that, Mr. Dukes served as an independent consultant, assisting in the establishment of a mortgage banking branch, and the capital-raising and application process for a de novo bank. Throughout his career, Mr. Dukes held senior-level executive positions with CNB Holdings, Inc., the Georgia Federal Credit Union, Fayette County Bank, Chattahoochee National Bank, and First Community Bank and Trust, among other companies.
