Workstream, Inc. – Michael Mullarkey

Michael Mullarkey was re-appointed to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of Workstream, Inc., in November 2009, bringing over 20 years of business experience in building and combining companies with synergistic skill sets, rapid growth and profitability objectives. Mr. Mullarkey is also the Chairman of the company's board of directors, a position he has held since November 2001. Mr. Mullarkey had been Chief Executive Officer from April 2001 until April 2007. Prior to joining Workstream, he was a major investor in Allen And Associates, Inc., one of the largest full-service outplacement and marketing firms in the United States, delivering career transitioning and recruitment services. In this capacity, he has been an investment adviser for a number of startup enterprises focused on Web-enabled technologies, management consulting, human resources and software development. Mr. Mullarkey previously spent eight years at Sony Electronics USA, holding a number of senior management positions, including General Manager and Vice President for the $1.5 billion Business Solutions Company division, where he handled all business-to-business corporate sales activities. He continues to serve as a strategic technology adviser on emerging technologies for companies such as Sony Electronics, Antec Corporation and The Prime Group. In 1998 Mr. Mullarkey co-founded and was Managing Director of IT Mergers & Acquisitions LLC, an investment capital group managing private equity funding, and investing in emerging technology markets and organizations specializing in information technology.
