Mitchell E. Hersh is Mack-Cali's President and Chief Executive Officer, and a
member of the executive committee of the board of directors. Mr. Hersh is
responsible for the strategic direction and long-term planning for the company,
as well as for creating and implementing the company's capital markets strategy
and overall investment strategy. In addition, Mr. Hersh serves as the Chairman
and CEO of The Gale Real Estate Services Company, a subsidiary of Mack-Cali.
Prior to joining Mack-Cali, he served as a partner of The Mack Co. since 1982
and as Chief Operating Officer of The Mack Company since 1990. Mr. Hersh was
recently appointed by Governor Jon S. Corzine to a new advisory panel known as
the New Jersey Real Estate Advisory Board. He is also a gubernatorial appointed
trustee of Montclair State University. Mr. Hersh serves on the board of
governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and has
served on the board of directors of the New Jersey Chapter of the National
Association of Industrial and Office Properties, where he currently sits on the
board of trustees. He has a B.A. in architecture from Ohio University Profile
