Donald P. Johnson, President and CEO, was one of the original organizers and founders of American Business Bank, a commercial bank that specializes in serving the middle-market business community. In 1997 Mr. Johnson and four partners personally raised more than $14.2 million to capitalize American Business Bank, the second largest management-driven capitalization in California history. In 2004 Mr. Johnson was elected to the board of the California Bankers Association. He earned his undergraduate degree in 1968 from the University of North Carolina. After college, he became a full lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. Mr. Johnson earned his MBA from Pepperdine University in 1977. Profile
