Paul Taylor is Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at BMO Harris
Investment Management Inc. He heads the BHIMI Investment Policy Committee, which
has responsibility for the overall investment strategy of the firm. He also is a
member of the Pension Fund Society Committee that oversees the management of the
$3.5 billion defined benefits program for BMO Financial Group Retirees and he is
a member of the Stratford Shakespeare Endowment Foundation Investment Committee.
He has had broad exposure to the Canadian institutional and retail investment
management industry. Prior to BMO, his most notable work assignments were at
Crown Life Insurance Company and at TAL Global Asset Management Inc. He was
responsible for the asset mix of Crown Life's institutional balanced pension
accounts and he was responsible for the investment management of TAL's mass
market (the CIBC Mutual Funds and the Talvest Funds) and mass affluent (CIBC
Personal Portfolio Services Program) client assets. He is a CFA charterholder,
earned his BA (Economics) degree from the University of Western Ontario and
earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Queen's University. He
is a member of the CFA Institute and the Toronto CFA Society. He is regularly
called on to share his view on the economy and capital markets on both the
Business News Network and on the Canadian Broadcasting Company and he is a
frequent contributor to print media such as the Globe & Mail, Reuters and The

TWST: Would you start with an overview of your firm and your investment philosophy.
Mr. Taylor: BMO Harris is the organization responsible for managing the assets
of Bank of Montreal's
