PETER J. SWAN is Portfolio Manager, International Equities at Managed Asset
Portfolios, LLC. Before joining MAP, he was an Equity Analyst with Pacific
Growth Equities (a brokerage firm and investment bank with an institutional
focus). His duties there included publishing research reports, modeling and
forecasting corporate results along with working with both private and public
firms. Prior to his tenure with Pacific Growth Equities, Mr. Swan spent six
years at OLDE Discount corporation as an Equity Research Analyst. At OLDE, he
followed stocks primarily in the restaurant, leisure and consumer brand (e.g.,
food, beverage and tobacco) industries. While at OLDE, he was recognized as an
"All Star Analyst" for stock picking (in gaming) by The Wall Street Journal in
its 1997 survey. He began his securities industry career with First Midwest
Securities in 1992. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration (with a
concentration in Finance) and a BS degree in Agriculture from the University of
