James McIlree has over two decades' experience in equity analysis and portfolio
management, on both the sell side and buy side. Since 2002 he has followed the
defense electronics industry for Collins Stewart LLC. Previously, he was a
Senior Technology Analyst at Tucker Anthony Sutro Capital Markets, where he
covered small and mid-cap wireless communication equipment and
telecommunications service providers. From 1996 through 1999, he covered the
same sectors for Southcoast Capital/HCFP Brenner Securities. He has also worked
in the past as a Securities Analyst with Duff & Phelps, Boettcher & Company and
Society National Bank and as a Portfolio Analyst with the University of Chicago
Endowment Fund. He is a CFA charterholder, has an MBA degree from the University
of Colorado Graduate School of Business and a BA degree from the University of
