STEVE WEINSTEIN, partner, vice president and senior research analyst,
leads Pacific Crest Securities' research initiatives in advanced
commerce and new media. As a result of his pioneering research on net-
centric opportunities and the convergence of content and commerce, Mr.
Weinstein was recognized for his research, ranking in the top 10 of
Institutional Investors' 2002 and 2003 All-American Research Team in the
Internet category. His research performance in the Internet segment
during 2001 earned Mr. Weinstein number one and number five rankings
respectively by StarMine and The Wall Street Journal. Referred to as one
of the smartest analysts covering eBay by eBay CEO Meg Whitman, Mr.
Weinstein concentrates on companies leveraging the convergence of
content and commerce to more efficiently bring together buyers and
sellers. Mr. Weinstein has made several appearances on CNBC and is
frequently cited in financial publications such as The Wall Street
Journal, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fortune, CNET News and Bloomberg. He
earned a BS in finance from DePaul University and an MBA from the
