TERRY D. GROWCOCK is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
of The Manitowoc Company, Inc. Mr. Growcock was appointed Manitowoc's
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in October 2002. He previously
served as President and CEO from July 1998. Mr. Growcock joined the
company in 1994 as Executive Vice President and General Manager of
Manitowoc Ice. In March 1995, he was appointed President of Manitowoc
Foodservice Group and served in that capacity until his promotion to
President and Chief Executive Officer in 1998. Prior to joining
Manitowoc, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Robertshaw
Automotive, a subsidiary of Siebe plc. In addition, Mr. Growcock
previously held sales, marketing, and executive positions with Paragon
Electric, United Technologies, Universal Nolin, and King-Seeley
Corporation. Mr. Growcock attended Indiana University and earned a
Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of St.
Francis, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was recently appointed the Vice Chair
of the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce. He also serves on the Boards
of Bemis Manufacturing, Silver Lake College and the National Association
of Manufacturers and is a member of the advisory council for the Kelley
School of Business at Indiana University. He is active in numerous civic
