GEORGE THARAKAN is a Portfolio Manager and Director of Research at Santa
Barbara Asset Management. He was previously a Senior Vice President at
Vantis Capital and, prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President at
Roxbury Capital Management and a Senior Design Engineer for Intel
Corporation. Mr. Tharakan graduated from the Indian Institute of
Technology with honors, has an MS in Computer Engineering from the
