CHRISTOF HEIDELBERGER, Founder & CTO has long been one of the most
respected electronic systems designers in the media technology
industries. Prior to co-founding BridgeCo, he was VP, new technology and
VP, hardware development at Schmid Telecom, Zurich, responsible for
developing Schmid's industry-leading DSL modems and ICS communication
system for air traffic control. He established Heidelberger Engineering
in 1993 to design equipment and systems for professional audio. Among
its many projects are Apogee Electronics' award-winning filters,
Goldmund's digital audio products, and the digital signal processing
system for the Wembley Arena Stadium in London. He has also held
engineering management positions at Electro-Voice (Buchanan, MI, USA)
and Soundcraft Electronics (London, UK). Profile
ANGELO UGGE, CEO is an accomplished technology executive with more than
two decades of leadership experience. Prior to joining BridgeCo, Mr.
Ugge held a series of executive positions with ST Microelectronics. From
his earliest assignments as an applications manager, he advanced through
a series of marketing and general management positions in North America-
-Area Sales Manager, Vice President of the Communications Business Unit
and, finally, Vice President and General Manager of ST Micro's Telecom,
Peripherals, Audio and Automotive and GM at ST Microelectronics, Mr.
Ugge led a team of about 250 professionals and directed the marketing,
sales support, planning, financial controls, product design, product
engineering, test engineering and quality functions. In this role, Mr.
Ugge was responsible for the management of a de-centralized, multi-
national organization, supported by four manufacturing plants in the USA
and number of design centers in the USA and Canada. Under his
leadership, this organization was instrumental fostering the growth of
the TPA North America account base to the US$ 1 billion level. Mr. Ugge
has also served as the CEO of technology start-ups Mems Optical and
Softing. A native of Italy and a US citizen, Mr. Ugge earned his
Doctorate Degree in Physics (summa cum laude) from the University of
