URI D. LANDESMAN is Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager and
Director of Global Equity Research for Federated Investors, Inc. He was
appointed Director of Global Equity Research in January 2004. Mr.
Landesman oversees the equity research group that provides proprietary
fundamental analysis to the firm's portfolio managers to assist them in
constructing portfolios. He joined Federated in February 2003 as a
Senior Portfolio Manager. Mr. Landesman continues to manage the
Federated International Equity Fund from Federated's New York City
location. He came to Federated with 18 years of investing experience.
Mr. Landesman has held positions at J.P. Morgan and most recently at
Arlington Capital Management, where he served as the Portfolio Manager
for the large cap core equity product. He is a summa cum laude graduate
of Yeshiva College. When he is not strategizing, he and his wife care
for their two young children. Mr. Landesman reads contemporary fiction
and is an avid sports watcher, following all major team sports.
Studying the Talmud and staying active in the local and national Jewish
communities, he is a devout man of religion. Mr. Landesman is currently
