Bob Robotti is president of Robotti & Company Incorporated, which he
founded in 1983. it is the parent-holding company of Robotti & Company,
LLC, a broker-dealer, and Robotti & Company Advisors, LLC, a registered
investment advisor. Prior to Robotti & Company, Mr. Robotti was a vice
president of Gabelli & Company, Inc. He worked in public accounting
before coming to Wall Street and is a CPA. He holds a BS from Bucknell
University and an MBA in Accounting from Pace University. He is also a
Managing Member of Ravenswood Management Company, LLC, which serves as
the General Partner of The Ravenswood Investment Company, LP, and
Ravenswood II, LP, two separate private investment funds. Profile
