Shannon Cross, as a Principal of Cross Research, focuses on the imaging
technology sector, providing independent equity research on the printing
and enterprise hardware industries. Prior, she was a Director for
Merrill Lynch's equity research group covering the imaging technology
sector. She initiated coverage of the imaging technology group in
November 2001. She joined Merrill Lynch in August 1997 as an industry
analyst in the equity telecom services research group. Her career at
Merrill Lynch was preceded by work in the business development group of
Teleport Communications Group, where she was a manager working on
strategic development and mergers and acquisitions. She received her
Master of Arts degree in Political Science from Columbia University and
her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy from University of
