KATHY FISHER is Chief Financial Officer of SonicWALL, Inc. She has over
25 years of experience in both the software and hardware industries.
Prior to joining SonicWALL, Ms. Fisher served as the Executive Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer of QAD, Inc., a publicly traded
provider of enterprise applications for global manufacturers. While at
QAD, she was part of a revitalization effort that reduced operating
expenses by $20 million annually and refocused the company to bring
about a stock price increase of over 600% in two and a half years.
Before QAD, Ms. Fisher was the Vice President and CFO at Adept
Technology, an automation software and hardware manufacturer in San
Jose, California. Prior to joining Adept, Ms. Fisher served as the Vice
President and CFO of Borland Inc., where she was part of a team that
turned $20 million in losses per quarter to profitability, and that
acquired a publicly traded company to add product lines to existing
offerings. Ms. Fisher also served as Vice President and CFO of Softbank
Content Services and has worked in the manufacturing industry at Western
Digital, a Southern California-based hard drive manufacturer. Throughout
her career, she has built a reputation for valuing relationships with
investors and customers. Ms. Fisher holds a Master's degree in Business
Administration from the University of Southern California in Los
