NICHOLAS S. BATTELLE, CFA, manages the Lee Munder Capital Group small
cap tax-sensitive products, and his analytical responsibility is small
cap health care. He became a Managing Director, Principal and Founding
Partner of Lee Munder Capital Group in August 2000 after 17 years with
Standish, Ayer & Wood, where he managed Standish's Small Cap Tax-
Sensitive Fund. Previously, he was with Sun Life of Canada for 12 years.
He has a BA from Duke University and an MBA from Columbia University. He
was named to the Barron's/Value Line list of Top 100 Fund Managers list
