JEFFREY R. SCHUMAN joined Keefe, Bruyette & Woods in 2000 and is a
Senior Vice President and the firm's Senior Life Insurance Analyst. He
has significant experience as both an analyst and a life industry
professional. Mr. Schuman has covered the life industry as an analyst
for nine years, including seven years with Conning & Company. Before
becoming an analyst, Mr. Schuman worked for nine years as a life
industry actuary, and he became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in
1996. His industry experience includes several years with CIGNA
Corporation and Milliman & Robertson. Mr. Schuman is a 1983 graduate of
