DEBRA GAINER COY covers the water industry and environmental
policy for Schwab Capital Markets. Ms. Coy has covered these
sectors from Washington, DC, since 1985. She has created a unique
franchise in covering the global water sector for investors and
has been responsible for running the leading specialty water
conference on Wall Street. She has appeared on CNBC, CNN, and
other investment-related broadcasts, published numerous articles
in industry journals, and is frequently quoted in financial and
industry publications on environmental and water industry issues.
Prior to joining the Washington Research Group, Ms. Coy was an
Equity Research Analyst with HSBC Securities, Inc., and with
NatWest Securities. Ms. Coy received her Bachelor's degree from
Southern College and her Master's degree in Journalism from the
