William Leach is a Managing Director, Equity Research at Banc of
America Securities and an analyst of the food industry. He was
previously associated with L.M. Rosenthal & Co. from 1973 to
1975; Loeb, Rhoades & Co. from 1975 to 1979; and Donaldson,
Lufkin & Jenrette from 1979 to 2000. He became a Certified
Financial Analyst in 1979 and was President of the Consumer
Analyst Group of New York from 1994 to 1995. He has been ranked
by Institutional Investor 16 times in food and three times in
beverages. He received his BA from New York University in 1973. Profile
