THOMAS SHRAGER is Managing Director of Tweedy, Browne Company
LLC. He joined the Investment Adviser in 1989 as a research
analyst for international equity securities. He was previously
associated with Arthur D. Little and Bear Stearns. Mr. Shrager
earned BA and MIA degrees from Columbia University. Profile
JOHN D. SPEARS is a Managing Director of Tweedy, Browne Company
LLC. He joined the Investment Adviser in 1974 and is a member of
the firm's Management Committee. Previously, Mr. Spears had been
in the investment business for five years with Berger, Kent
Associates; Davic Associates; and Hornblower & Weeks-Hemphill,
Noyes & Co. He studied at the Babson Institute of Business
Administration, Drexel Institute of Technology and the University
of Pennsylvania ' The Wharton School. Profile
CHRISTOPHER H. BROWNE is a Managing Director of Tweedy, Browne
Company LLC. He has been with the Investment Adviser since 1969
and is a member of the firm's Management Committee. He is on the
Board of Directors of Tweedy, Browne Fund Inc. and is a Trustee
of the University of Pennsylvania and sits on the Executive
Committee of its Investment Board. He is also a Trustee and a
member of The Council of the Rockefeller University. Mr. Browne
also serves on the Faculty Advisory Committee of The Kennedy
School at Harvard University's program in Behavioral Finance. He
is a frequent speaker on behavioral psychology and financial
decision-making as it relates to international investing. Mr.
