JEFFREY G. NAYLOR is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer of Big Lots, Inc., Mr. Naylor is responsible for the
company's financial strategy and operations, and oversees the
financial planning, treasury, investor relations, reporting,
control, and tax functions of the business. He joined Big Lots in
September 2001. Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Big Lots is a
Fortune 500 retailer with annual revenues exceeding $3.8 billion.
As the nation's largest broadlines closeout retailer, Big Lots
has over 1,380 stores and employs more than 40,000 associates
across the United States. Prior to joining Big Lots, Mr. Naylor
was Senior Vice President, Chief Financial and Administrative
Officer of Dade Behring, a $1.2 billion international
manufacturer and distributor of medical diagnostic products. He
has significant retail experience, having been with The Limited,
Inc., where he was Vice President, Controller, and Sears Roebuck
and Co., where he was Vice President, Finance of the full-line
department stores business and Vice President, Finance of the
Sears Credit division. Earlier in his career, he held various
positions of increasing responsibility at Kraft Foods and Dun &
Bradstreet. He began his career with the accounting firm of
Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte & Touche). Mr. Naylor
received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern
University, his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business,
