LES MUMA's career, from his first job as a programmer to his current
position as President and Chief Executive Officer of Fiserv, Inc., has
been involved with computers and automation. Mr. Muma has been with
Fiserv since the beginning, when his company ' Sunshine State Systems,
Inc., of Tampa'merged with George Dalton's First Data Processing of
Milwaukee to create Fiserv, Inc., in 1984. Mr. Muma and his management
team had acquired Sunshine State Systems from a large Florida savings
and loan through a leveraged buyout, and from 1971 to 1984 he served as
President of the company. Prior to that, he was an Advisory Services
Consultant with Price Waterhouse & Company, Data Processing Manager for
a large County Board of Public Instruction and Senior Systems Manager
for an international chemical corporation. Mr. Muma also serves as a
director of MGIC Investment Corporation. He attended the University of
South Florida, where he received degrees in Theoretical Mathematics and
