Ed Wolfe is a Senior Managing Director at Bear, Stearns & Co. As a
Senior Analyst in the equity research department, he covers
transportation, logistics and supply chain technology companies. He
joined the firm in August 1999. He also currently holds the positions of
President and Secretary of the Motor Carriers Analysts Group, a splinter
group of Wall Street analysts. Mr. Wolfe is currently ranked number one
in airfreight and logistics on Institutional Investor's All-America
Research Team, as well as by Greenwich Associates and TheStreet.com. He
is also ranked number one overall by The Wall Street Journal's Best on
the Street poll for the broader category of industrial transportation.
Prior to joining Bear Stearns, he worked at BT Alex. Brown and Schroder
& Co. For the past five years, he has co-authored The Supply Chain
Indicator (formerly The State of the Freight Indicator), a detailed
quarterly analysis of freight patterns. Mr. Wolfe was previously a
Principal of Schweet Design, Inc., a small, privately held apparel and
marketing firm, and worked as a litigator for a prominent Wall Street
law firm. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown
University and a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of
