ROBERT W. DUGGAN has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of
Computer Motion, Inc., since 1990 and has been a shareholder since 1989.
Mr. Duggan has been a private venture investor for more than 25 years,
and has participated in fields ranging from medical equipment, computer
local and wide area networks, PC hardware and software distribution,
digital encryption, consumer retail goods and outdoor media
communications. He also assisted in corporate planning, capital
formation and management for his various investments. He is a member of
the University of California, Santa Barbara Foundation Board of
Trustees, as well as the University's Engineering Steering Committee.
Formerly, Mr. Duggan served as a member of the Boards of Trustees for
the Santa Barbara Museum of Art and the Santa Barbara Symphony. Profile
