HARVEY N. JONES is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cutter &
Buck, Inc., as well as a co-Founder and Director of the company since
its inception in January 1990. He grew up working in his father's men's
retail stores in Spokane, Washington. In the mid-1970s, he started
manufacturing fashion jeans to supply the denim needs of the emerging
baby boom generation. In 1986, he co-founded Bench Co., Ltd., a men's
and women's sportswear company, where he worked until 1989. From
February 1985 to November 1986, he held several positions, including
Director of Domestic Production and Co-Director of International
Sourcing at Union Bay Clothing company. Since the company's formation in
1990, the company has achieved consistent annual sales increases from
$13 million in 1995, $22 million in 1996, $46 million in 1997, $70
million in 1998 and $107 million in 1999. Profile
TWST: Could you give us a brief overview of the history and evolution ofCutter & Buck?
Mr. Jones: I co-founded Cutter & Buck in 1989 with private capital, soon
followed by venture
